I been out out work for a year now. Been struggling and trying to take care of my family off my unemployment checks and it’s been rough. After 16 job interviews and being told I have the job 10 times and realizing the job is either not a great fit or not consistent or I had to be away from my then pregnant wife for five days at a time through her last trimester , I had to reevaluate and leave many jobs. Now I finally found a job I love that meets my needs and family needs. Working at the Children’s Home, and it’s located down the street from my house the pay is great and I drive the company car. I was losing faith but my wife helped me stick it out a lil longer. Now I’ll be able to get my kids presents and thank my wife for sticking with and dealing with all my moods. This site introduced me to the job that helped me get the job I have now. Thank you all for all your help and support.

The most important thing about SOS children village was to see siblings stay together and to see the smiles on their faces knowing that they can trust me.

I to working over some years met many types of adversity and thought that it was all over but by his grace and mercy I was able to start all over and countinued to have a very prosperous life now holding a degree in human and social science as a social worker but still haveing another rside of my work skills in the maintaince, lic. boiler oper., and other trades in the maintenance mech. abilities, so never say never just trust the God that you believe in or what ever works for you in the way of encouragement and go for it.

It was a phone conversation as we changed systems to phone contact instead of one on one in person. The lady had already talked to several people and was angry because she turned in all paperwork and hadn’t received benefits. She was lacking verification from a landlord to complete her application after I checked the case. She was in a wheelchair and unable to go to her office to get information. I got the phone number, contacted the Landord, got all needed verification and worked her case. I also apologized for the inconvenience and she was very pleased once case was worked. It is basically the clients responsibility to get all information but we can go above and beyond if we chose to be kind and helpful. Conflict solved and happy customer.

I started their through helping the homeless. I met someone at a bible study who later became the pastor. He talked about how he and his family started passing out food to the homeless and had asked for help. I went their to help and continued and one day we started a church.

I work for almost 8 years with this client he is 27 years old this kid couldn't walk couldn't eat always hitting himself constantly like in a way that he just wanted to kill himself and get it over with he will bite himself pinch the skin off it took me 8 years so he could stop at least 75% of all he used to do it was so hard to change him but he did a wonderful job he's a wonderful kid the mother is the co- founder in the CEO of the program adults with disabilities attend liked school...well, after to many years i finally had guts to let her know that I won't be available to take that drive no more since she moving further away dad gave me the encouragement to say it cuz she's me what's in the process to move in the next 4 weeks so I had to say something before that.... the next thing I know she emailed me saying that she doesn't want me to work with her son ever again or not to come to her house for more now since she owns the program just asking her manager to fired me because I know too much now I am so much and stress my body shakes I cry for everytime i go into work my back hurts my shoulder hurts like if I dislocated and my neck I can't sleep I get nauseous a lot. My appetite comes and go. I remember the mom saying to me one time I get what I want when I want and if I don't get it I will make sure that I will give him a hard time enough for them to quit the fight and I'm glad I have a friend who's the director and it's my best friend and she would do anything for me. I am very scared they have so much powerful people please help me tell me what to do I sometimes see emotional abuse in that program and everytime I inform her about it she just says don't worry about it leave it alone and they're very rich people who says this to me please help me please I'm so scared I believe they just going to ruin my reputation so I will make sure I will never never work in my life again because I know too much I've been to their houses her seem everything
