When I worked second shift and the first shift dishwasher no call no show and had to get everything situated and back to normal also work double shifts until they were able to find a replacement worker for that shift

Was delivering a tray to a patient the patient literally threw the tray towards my direction saying that that's not the correct order I said sorry and told him I'll go back and be sure you receive the meal that you ordered got the correct tray delivered it said sorry once again also sorry for the miscommunication with the dietary aide who took his order down and later that shift was approached by the gentlemens wife she said sorry for his behavior and replied that's our job to provide quality food service to our patients even if we have to go out of our way..

I loved my coworkers also everyone who worked in different positions around the hospital

My advice to people interested in working at #SouthwestGeneralHospital as a #AdministrativeAssistant ...
Southwest General Hospital is a great place to work. The pay is comparable, the Management knows Most of their employees by name, the support system for Associates is better than average. The ability to further personal Education is supported all around.

Be ready to work by yourself daily; even after being told you won't.

Taking the v/s of 24-27pts by myself and up to 15 blood sugars. Answering lights, changing pts, bathing them. Asking for help but being told they tried but nobody wants to come in but when it's another unit they have no problem getting them help.
