A new stimulus package was passed that includes $1,400 payments to citizens, updates to unemployment...but it contains so much more! Take a look at our recent article on stimulus benefits like rent assistance, loan forgiveness, and tax breaks.

Just wanted to share with yall I actually received stimulus check today,Friday March 12th. Biden just signed bill into law yesterday. I hope everyone gets theirs very quick also cause lord knows we all need it and have been waiting a long time. Also for those who are still fighting for your unemployment benefits, keep fighting and stay diligent. Get what is yours. We all deserve what is honestly ours ,which we all paid for all these years working. Get what you can while you can. Just be honest because someone else will take what is rightfully yours!! Good luck and God Bless America!! #stimulus #unemployment #strongertogether

President Biden has signed the third stimulus package into law as of March 11, 2021. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced the IRS and Treasury are working hard to get payments out and some people will see direct deposits hit their bank accounts as early as this weekend!!

But what if you haven't received the first two stimulus payments?

If you never got your money or a confirmation letter from the IRS that your first or second stimulus payment was sent, you will most likely have to file for the money as a Recovery Rebate Credit with your 2020 federal taxes.

Note: there may be other cases where your money didn't come through because of an error. Attempt to contact the IRS if:

  • The Get My Payment tracking tool reported that the IRS sent your payment weeks ago and you haven't received it.
  • You received a confirmation letter from the IRS that your payment was sent, but you didn't receive it.
  • You think you may have accidentally thrown away your prepaid EIP debit card or check.
  • You suspect someone stole your check or otherwise defrauded you.

Hi Gregory! Thank you for your service! Yes, I wouldn't see why not unless there was an issue with past child support or your taxes. Did you receive the first two by any chance?
