Hello my name is Richae I'm currently employed by Stage Stores as a store manager. I just found out my store is closing & now I'm faced with major life decisions. I can take a pay cut & transfer or I can just take severance. Is there any one out there who has experience this & how did you handle it?

Well I can’t tell anyone anything like that anymore because Retail Brand Alliance owned Casual Corner and they have closed all the stores but if it was still open I would say and did say to people that it was a great place to work if you put forth effort to do what was expected of you.

The biggest mistake I made was allowing an associate to use her boyfriends debit card when making an employee purchase. We had all been told by the previous manger that it was ok, so I allowed it when I was manager. I got called on the carpet by the security manager. He somewhat understood it when it was explained to him.

I was a store manager, my district manager wanted me to all these changes, which I started making. My employees called HR with false claims against me. HR called me one day at the store to " investigate the claims". I agree with HR they need to follow up and investigate all claims. But to have the director of HR call me nasty names and make very rude statements to me. To the paint that I was fired.
