The new beginnings are meant to change life Bring out a perspective so different Give the feeling similar to the after life To be at ease for everything is transparent

Oblivious moments that pace the time As step by step wondering carelessly With floors with stones so divine While passing it glistened so perfectly

Delighted to breathe in the immaculate pure air As rejoicing in the embraceable moment No other feeling can compare Going through life with a major improvement

Like getting through a storm so long Climbing a mountain with such great height Feeling the strength to be so strong Winning the battle of life is not giving up the fight

Oh, how glorious this can be To be taken away from NOBODY

I have posted before that I was trying to look for another job. It was not to replace the one I have. I am a part time receptionist. I love working where I am. Yes it is a little far from where I live for it being part time. I want to stay because my supervisor is teaching me so much. So, I decided to find work for after the shift I am on for part time. I have found one. Great pay, hours work for me, love the fact that is Monday through Friday as well as my part time. So I can have the weekend to do as I need. The job sounds pretty easy. I had to do a credit check and a finger print clearance. I hesitated when it came to the credit check. My credit is not all that great. It was a week wait to find out I passed. Than came the finger print clearance. I knew I would pass that. I don't get in to trouble. I do not have time for it. Wouldn't if I did. Not worth the hassle. So I started to get ancy because they took awhile to get back with me. I called the agency I was working with. She let me know there was cases pending. That made me feel better. I though that something went wrong. I do not get into trouble so it made me wonder. Than I got a confirmation with the agency yesterday. Training starts on the 27th. I can't wait. I have goals. I want to start to pay off some debt. Than go back in to college for business. I do not want to stop there. I have a few other professions I want to get done too. I know I can do it, No one can stop me. So I hope that all you think on what you need to do to improve yourself. For everyone is different. One thing is certain. We can if we have the WILL and there will be a WAY if we proceed forward.... Patience is a virtue. It is not always easy to have. but the understanding of can be hard,. We can all get caught up in our lives. We don't want to wait to make things happen. It is all taking a step at a time. So we do not fall. It will happen when the time is right.

Hey hey fellow job casers. Just wanted to check in real quick and let you all know, I finished school but haven't been able to take my certification test yet. New Horizons is a joke. They are a $ scam. All the students who attended on the CareerSource grant were left with vouchers we can't use because we took night classes and they don't want to offer night tests. They claim our campus is closed. I'm not risking my job to take off to go take their test, when they should have let us take it when we finished the course. So for Now my MOS certification is on hold. Pfft

On a good note however, I became permanent and official at my job yesterday. My benefits will start September 1 and I was given $3 more per hour, so I'm pretty close to making what I made back home and now I'll be able to get my own place. I'm very excited and happy. I will continue to send blessings, luck and positive energy to everyone in this group who is still searching, trying and hitting the streets everyday to land a position for themselves. Just stay at it and remember HOLD ON FOR ONE MORE DAY AND ALWAYS ONE MORE DAY! your breakthrough is coming. Try not to give up or breakdown. I'll stay in to cheer others on, offer support and advise if needed. I'll share any jobs I hear come open, at least in my neck of the woods and to celebrate all the small victories. This is my last post about myself and my job search journey however.

Take care everyone and keep your chin up! Amber

Got an offer after 6 months of sending application. The offer is on my field with an opportunity for growth. I thank God for this. Few things to share;

  1. If you applied to a company online and you didn't hear back from them, do an extra job to lookup for someone who is working in the company to talk to about the job you have applied to.
  2. If you can go in to the company to submit hard copy of your resume and cover letter, pls do.

These are few of what I did and it worked. I pray others looking for job will get it soon.
