I finally got a job today after being surplused by a BIG telecom company back in October. I'd worked there for just over 20 years. Now in my mid 40s I get to use my skills for a company that seems to actually value their employees.
Finally got the email! I got the job!!! It took 2weeks but it was well worth it! *FedEx Express 3rd shift $14.30/hr
I am so grateful to see the #successstories. I start my new job on 8.2.19. I was given the first shift I requested out of three. I am so grateful for me and everyone else that has been hired. For those of you still looking, keep the faith, search diligently. I am a believer, I prayed and read certain scriptures every day, (still reading them). Won't He Do It! I relocated to another State, changed careers, and was blessed with a job offer after 10 days of active looking and knowing God will give me provisions as he has riches in glory to supply our every need.
After sending out hundreds of resumes, it wasn't until I had to retype the job description of my last job I noticed. I repeated the same sentence back to back. I quickly made the changes, and reviewed every other part of my resume, than updated all the job search sights. So far in 2 days I've gotten 72 emails asking for interviews. The first of them will be tomorrow morning, job pays more than ive ever made and landing this job will be absolutely life changing. So for all those that have sent out hundreds of resumes, and never got a response. Make sure everything is perfect, from grammar, to punctuation. The little things do matter, as I found out the hard way.
I went on a interview on Monday and was asked to come back on Wednesday. I was told I would have too speak too the restaurant manager. So wish me luck. I really need this job.
I just got a job at Home Depot. So far, so good. Special Services Dept.

It's been 9 months now since I lost my job. I am a single mother with a son in college and it's been very challenging. I finally got a job offer after only 5 face to face interviews and 100's of applications. I am so thankful that My God provided for me and kept me in his hand. I prayed everyday and gave him thanks for a better opportunity and he did just that even though my bank is very low, I am so grateful. So to all of you who feels like nothing will happen don't give up keep applying and being positive eventually a door will open. Blessings and peace to you all!
