This past Tuesday I walked out on my job really just got tired of it working production packing wet wipes for 8 hours a day at four and a half months pregnant. Get this, my schedule was 5:55 to 2 p.m. but I had to be to work at least by 5am because no lie, I had to walk a mile to get to my actual job post. I timed myself daily which usually would take 12 to 15 minutes from my actual car to where I needed to be this is what you have to do everyday Monday through Friday sometimes Saturday through rain, hail, sleet snow, hot weather, cold weather... they don't give a damn. You have to put on all your ppe equipment before entering your site so that took atleast another 10-15 mins..me being pregnant always used the restoom before going in so another 5-8 mins gone lol but I worked my ass off doing various of different jobs that my line required.. Rather it was packing, making boxes, driving the line, stacking the pallots.. You name it while coworkers would lag around being lazy!! I really just got fed up this week and walked out...said a prayer the mile long walk back to my car... Went home changed clothes and went out to apply elsewhere.... Got hired that very next day and start my orientation Monday! Just letting anyone know keep faith and don't stay where you're unappreciated and not treated fairly. P.S. Oh and if you were even a minute late it was a point and you only got 4 1/2 before you were out the door.

After a month of waiting I was officially hired at Amazon after waiting one month after my interview. Hopefully I’ll be able to put a 2 week notice in at the job I have now. I don’t know want to leave my boss in limbo being shorthanded but if they need me immediately I’ll have to exit real fast. I very excited for the new opportunity. Kudas to me and I’ll pray everything works out in the long run

I managed to find a part-time job as a graphic designer today. I still want to get back into journalism, but I was in business as a graphic artist, website designer, and Internet marketer for 25 years. I want to relocate back to the Huntington, WV area and Marshall University. I have even considered going back for a doctorate. It is one of those remote, work at home jobs. I don't know how long this is going to last, but I am excited for now.

I got the job! God is so good.

I got a job with Walgreens as a Customer Service Associate. I have been there over a month. The position is basically cashier. The hours aren't bad either. The position is part time.

I started by being homeless. Got a job, and then even better job. Finally started renting rooms. Then I lost my job due to injuring my back due to a bus accident. I didnt give up. While on unemployment I did job searches, landed the job I did over 2 years ago. Today , I'm still with said job, and 8 months ago I applied to PSNS (Puget Sound Naval Shipyard) for a Canteen Operator position. I interviewed for the position Wednesday and was offered the position today. That is a job working for the Federal Government. I couldn't be more excited.

I finally landed a job. The job is temporary, but I will take it until I can find a permanently position. I am so blessed that I received an offered

I start my new job oriention at the Devos Place in Grand Rapids Michigan. this Tuesday at 1pm

I moved to a new location in hopes of finding a job and a new start. I applied on mostly indeed, and got a few interviews here and there and no call backs because the amount of applicants are overwhelming. So I decided to do my job search on a more hands approach and do the old fashion way of face to face. This may or may not come to a surprise to anyone but, everyone kept directing me online. I did many applications on line and did my calls and got more of a response than on indeed, I would call and say “May I speak to a manger and I would remind them of who I am and that I came into the business” and to my surprise I have many job offers now that I’m going for the one that pays the most.

I don't know of this ever happening to anyone but I had my first phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes and I was told they would let me know in a day or two if they wanted to move forward but 45 minutes later I got offered the job has that ever happened to you and do you think that means that I impressed them enough that they think I am the best person for the job
