I have not been there Years. I loved it and my coworkers were very professional and knowledgeable in the fiduciary industry. I would love to work with them again upon relocating to NYC area.

I wish I were cross-trained on skills that would show their usefulness and be cross-trained so that I can move to other positions more seamlessly.

When I worked at #Suntrust I gave great advice when

I had a customer who came in because she was going through a divorce. When her checks were deposited, her husband would withdraw it first. I spoke with her about opening a specific account with only her information. We contacted her job and got her money back

I was working as a personal banker and had a manager who treated me horribly. This is a list of things that happened.

  1. Upon first meeting, I was told that I need to work on my hand shake.
  2. I was sent home on day 1 for not knowing SunTrust does not allow bare shoulders with thick straps.
  3. I was originally told I was going to one location and it was in my offer letter as well not where they changed me to. There was never anything said to me about being put at another branch
  4. I received many comments about how people in Alpharetta expect their bankers to be dressed a certain way, clearly indicating that I am not dressed as she would expect me too. I have never been told that dresses and cardigans were not appropriate dress
  5. I was told to get pregnant or foster a kid so I'm not so lonely and homesick.
  6. In the middle of a conversation, I was interrupted by my manager, bc although I was having a productive conversation with my client, it was not the way she wanted.
  7. Having another conversation and my manager paced around my desk. All of the stress of this micromanager had me throwing up blood and hospitalized for 5 days. 2 days into my hospitalization the company had me fired because I trusted that they received my sick note and they claim they didn't. In my hospitalization, I was heavily medicated and had no one to call in for me. The manager also refused to notate my emergency contact because he was out of state. Not only did I go through all of this, the manager also refused to show me how to be compensated for mileage and deleted a day of pay that I worked. All in all the company owes me 475 dollars that I have been owed for 2 months now. I wish i had legal grounds against this company but because of employment at will, im being told i do not. I attempted to contact HR prior to my termination because of the treatment I was receiving and everything was turned around to. Blame me
