Even now the administration has been in communication with all HCA staff and doing all they can to keep everyone working. I truly feel not many corporations will go beyond to support their employees like Swedish medical center has.

Again, get that assurance that you will learn your job duties right from someone who knows just how to teach them correctly and with consistency. A job is so much more enjoyable when you learn it right from the beginning, and not by poor orientation.

Not insisting on a more consistent, detailed orientation. To know at the outset just what and how things should be done correctly from the start!

Every day was stressful, but on the weekend that you were the case manager for the whole house, well That could get stressful rather quickly and last the whole shift, or weekend for that matter.

I honestly do not remember a customer getting angry at me! I do remember a co-worker getting upset when I did leave Seattle.

The diversity of patients and the different challenges each one of them brought to me as a case manager! I was always busy working with staff members. family members patients, and care team members to assure quality of care. length of stay appropriateness, and cost effectiveness to both parties. I love a challenge!
