They keep you where they want while they let their friends and family in the easy jobs everyday. Lot of favoritism. Plus they wont tell you about things to advance you there. I would never work there again

The most stressful time I had at Palo Alto Networks was when our whole system in which we did our work on was down for practically the whole workday. I worked the graveyard shift, so even contacting my boss by e-mail and calling didn't help. After trying everything I could to reboot things from my end of things, I stayed up for my whole shift as regular waiting to see if the system would reboot itself and waited for my team supervisor to message/call me back to tell me it was okay to get back to work. I just stayed level headed and did what I could, followed what procedures I was trained to do, and awaited further instructions. It was less of a situation I could overcome and more of one I had to wait out.

I retired from the United States Navy on 30 September 1987 as a Chief Sonar Technician with 23 years of service. I set out on my own by answering ads in news papers. I found myself to be either over qualified because of my 23 years of electronics training or under qualified due to a lack of computer knowledge. I applied at Kelly Temporary Services for employment. Kelly sent me to Hallmark Circuits as a general laborer. The management of Hallmark Circuits moved me around the various departments to see where I would be most productive. It was in the Wet Area Processing (plating/etching) that I found my nitch. It was discovered that I worked well with visiting chemical supplier’s engineers and technicians in developing Beta platforms for Electroless Through Hole Processing and Black Oxide Deposition. Hallmark also went to an Alternative to Black Oxide system. Unfortunately, due to both the attacks on the Twin Towers on 9/11 and the Enron Scandal, Hallmark Circuits fee on hard times and I as well as about eighty others were downsized in April 2007.

In this swiftly evolving technical world there is a ever growing demand for professionals who are knowledgeable and up to date with the vast collection of solutions available and the skill set needed to provide consultation and implementation of these solutions. While there is demand for these services, im many cases the need seems to be only temporary. The temporary need has led to an overwhelming number of Contract positions. This situation has led to hardships felt by IT professionals due to the instability of employment. Employment services are exploiting this demand by providing a desperate workforce a temporary fix for a long lasting problem. This has led to many professionals spending short periods of time actually employed and moths of frustration between assignments. We must address this situation and find a solution together.

However after 6 months of applications with no success I realized that it was time to change something. I've always been good with computers but thought that software development is too hard, too boring or too [put any reason for me not to do it here]. I enjoyed working in Audio Spectrum because thats what i have finished in college & my love in life .. making high power lighting apparatus .high powered amplifier .high powered sound system & designing is my life , i enjoyed it & eventually w/o noticing it is a profitable experience in the Philippines where i served as contractor of Disco ..Clubs,Bar , Event Center , Concert , Churces etc. They like my new proposal in applying my modern method both in Lightings & Sound system Design.. Mechanical system i designed is quite far more advance than you can see in orher existing disco,, bar,, clubs,, Churches .. ex.i made an electro/ mechanical singer platform that moves back n forth with smoke coming around the ramp with matching color that enhance the beauty of the soroundings & the singer itself. I always create a system that is entirely different from the other business establishment..

nothing is worse than spending weeks learning how to use a software package only to find out later that it's the wrong one for your business. It wastes valuable time and drains you of the energy you need for business survival.

Another possibility is to purchase separate programs that you like and integrate them yourself. You'll get the ideal combination of no-compromise features. If you do, though, be prepared to buy plenty of RAM and hard disk to accommodate all your work.
