Yesterday, I went in for an interview at one of my favorite companies. I am so excited. Though the job is entry level. I was able to get my toe in the door. I can't wait to start work on Monday!

Sometimes we all forget that our bosses are human too, and just like us, it feels great when someone recognizes you for doing a good job! Take some time out of your day to write a note of encouragement to your boss. Pick out a particular area that you have noticed their strength or support in, or maybe a policy that they implemented that improved the work place or moral . They get bombarded with all sorts of issues from their employees as well as their supervisors, so a kind word would be greatly appreciated and REMEMBERED! Even if you have a rotten boss, you may have to dig a bit,but you can find SOMETHING that they are good at or did right. Come on! Even a broken clock is right twice a day! Some may view this as "kissing up" but it's a small price to pay to do a kind thing , and brighten their day for someone who may keep your name off the LET GO list someday in the future. Everyone can use a pat on the back every now and then.

I seriously can't believe I found a full time job being that the construction industry is kinda competitive when looking for a job in that kinda industry and I don't have a lot of experience on the job but only a lot of knowledge of different processes. But I've been looking for a job since December 11, 2017 and no one actually had given me a call back about an interview, so something told me to go and give my former welding instructor a visit at the college and talk to him. I went over there and I told him about me not being able to find a job at the moment and he asked me if I wanted to work for Golden Dragon Copper and I said yes I do and he gave them a call and that next day I had an interview. I kinda feel like there's something that God wants me to focus in on at this moment, just like when I was looking for a job a when I graduated college and around the 13 of June 2016 McDonald's was the only company that called for an interview but I'm glad for that because it worked around my college schedule and I know for a fact of who's really in charge of everything when it comes anything and everything, God is definitely the one. I remember at church, the first Sunday of this month there was a sermon that the preacher had preached and he mentioned that God actually wants us to be productive about things in the year of 2018, I think this is definitely that time for that. #Thankful #blessed #job #fulltime #employed #GodisAmazing

A new tradition with my family here in Boston is to go into Boston on Memorial Day wknd and pay respect to the 37,000+ men and women from Massachusetts who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the preservation of peace and freedom for my family and this country. Boston puts 1 flag in the big park in the middle of the city ("Boston Common") for every casualty of every war since the revolution in which a Mass resident has died. This is a somber holiday. This is an important holiday. As I type this I have daughters sleeping without any care that their lives or freedom could be threatened by a foreign threat, because they have total confidence that there are heroes in our military right now that ensure their lives, and our way of life, remains protected and defended. 37,000 from one state is huge. but the larger number far surpasses a million for our whole country. Staggering price for freedom. I cannot imagine the pain endured by the families and loved ones of these fallen heroes. But, I do hope they can imagine how appreciative my family is for the sacrifice and service.
I hope every Jobcaser is having a great 3 day wknd with their families and friends, but lets all please remember to take some time to reflect on what this day off is all about - remembering those that make our everyday freedoms -and our country itself -possible. Thank you, heroes. Thank you families of these heroes. God bless you and God bless America.

#memorialday #heroes. #thankful

I'm not so sure many people read this here at all... But one of the best days has got to be today. We have been struggling for what seems like an eternity and today..... My landlord came for rent. It just so happens I am ahead of the game! God is Great. And I feel so humbled. Hard work does pay off....

The experience didn't change me, because I know what it's like for people reaching out and lending a helpful hand to someone in need, because it was me at one point and I never forgot how that experience change my life, thoughts, and heart, that someone took time to help me out and I vowed to do whatever I could do to continue to be helpful with my time, my finances, it's a wonderful feeling to know that have made a positive difference in someone's life!
