The biggest mistake I made as a #CNA/Phlebotomists12years at #THOCC-NewBritain,CT/EmergencyRoom ...

In my 38 years at THOCC. I mistakenly drew blood on the right patient but put wrong patient identification on the tube. Then, needed to redraw blood work again on the correct patient with the correct labels. Putting the patient through having another needle stick because of my error

A #stressful #THOCC-NewBritain,CT/EmergencyRoom day

When the inpatient area was full and then we needed to hold admitted patient in the ER, until patient were discharged. During this time the ER was still overflowing with more very sick and life threatening patient s still needing to be seen

What I loved working at #THOCC-NewBritain,CT/EmergencyRoom

That it was like being part of a family, not a big organization
