My advice to people interested in working at #KINGSTREEINNiMOTEL)WASSOLDANDICHOICENOTTOWORKFORTHENEWOWNERS as a #MANAGEROFAMOTEL ...
I would tell to try for a job there,if they are willing to work. The people that bought it doesn't hire office help as they do it themselves.once in a while they may get someone to work if they want time off.

The biggest mistake I made as a #MANAGEROFAMOTEL at #KINGSTREEINNiMOTEL)WASSOLDANDICHOICENOTTOWORKFORTHENEWOWNERS ...
I. guess my biggest problem was,I got the employs raises and when I did they slacked up on their work.I never asked for a raise,I don't regret that as I made enough for the hours I worked.I was on call 24/7,work 4 hours a day during the week.I loved my job,it's a job for a person that likes people of all races. It was a great job.

I choice not to work for the new owns as I did not like the way they ran things, they would have a sign saying they had single room, when someone came to rent a room, they would say all the singles were rented so they could rent other rooms that cost more. When the old owners had the Motel we only had 4 single rooms 2 were handicap, people knew this. Our rates were the same year round,we had corp.rates for people working in our in or around town.It was a good honest way to rent rooms.

I didn’t appreciate working there. I blacked out in the bathroom, my fiancé took me to hospital, then I brought them a doctors note excusing me for 3 days. They don’t accept doctors notes as an excuse. I wouldn’t recommend at all. Hr didn’t help much either.

So I just moved back home an am desperately looking for a job. Recently I managed to land an interview with this hotel and was super excited because I REALLY wanted the job. I brought extra resumes, had my own writing tools, asked the right questions, and even took the bus just to get there fifteen minutes early. It took them two weeks to reply just to say no and before that even happened I made sure to call them, email them, and even went in person to talk to anyone in charge of the hiring process. In the end they just told me they were moving forward with another candidate. I am either under-qualified for the jobs I apply for or over-qualified. I just want to know what I can do to be better in interviews and finally get a job.

No one ever got mad at me or I mad at them
