In my passed careers I have never walked away from a job. My first day of working with this company I immediately notice there are more chiefs and not enough Indians. I couldn't believe the Assistant Manager/ Team Lead spoke to the current manager and the employees with no respect. The worst part the Assistant Manager have been working for the company 13 years and Team Lead 3years. This was a red flag to me. The current manager tolerated the behavior. I was hire as the new manager immediately I notice these two individuals behavior. I spoke to DM and informed of what I have experience. He said he knows and I need to find new people to replaced them. I told myself this job is not worth the headache and stress. They should have been fired them a long time ago. When a DM allows this behavior there's a problem. Work for a month in half #management and walked away from a #toxic environment.

I have accepted a job offer for 10k a year less than I make at my current job. My current boss has asked me to stay saying "the company needs me or it will fail". The work culture is toxic, unorganized and chaotic. The new job seems better, less responsibility, 30 min longer commute. I feel guilty and have considered staying. Everyone in my life is pushing me to quit this place, but I feel as though its for selfish reasons. I. just dont know what to do. Current job pros: more money, less commute, a lot lf vacation, very flexible hours, can leave work early if needed and minimal supervision. New job pros: job function with less responsibility.
