I LOVED working for the R Us company. My favorite part was working at Babies R Us helping new parents. They came in excited to start looking for what they needed right after finding out they were expecting. It was fun to show them all the different cool items that were out on the market to help them. The one area that I spent the most time in was our Car Seats. To many choices, features and price range to confuse anyone, especially a new parent to be. The other great advantage was watching these precious gifts from God grow. One day they were tiny babies in there Mom’s arms. In a blink of an eye they were now in school. I will miss the 32yrs that I worked for the R Us company.

So I worked for Toysrus for almost two years and recently lost my job I've been applying everywhere and nothing ! I am so stressed out being a single mom of three girls it's not easy two in middle school times are tough ! Can someone give me leads in Las Vegas ??? I would really appreciate it

I needed a job after Toys R Us closed and Dollar General is now my new home. I think in life you need to be the person who matters, and that means always putting your all into whatever you do. If you want to give up just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Be the person who shines bright, the person they can't ignore, and get the job you want! I thought once Toys R Us closed I was finished, but now I am managing this store and I couldn't be happier.

Although I have found childhood memories of Yoys R Us myself and I am sad to see it go, I was more upset to see KB Toys go out than good old Geoffrey. However, it is all due to 2 Rival companies that will eventually run most of all huge chains of various kinds of products and industries underground by monopolizing the society's desire to keep "bargain shopping to save a dollar". Walmart and Target are VERY clever with how they market their ever expanding inventory offerings for us the consumer. We think why should we go to the actual store specialized to sell specific products like the grocery store to get food, or a toy store for a toy, or a furniture store to buy a new desk, an auto mechanic for tires or an oil change, or a department store selling various aged appropriate clothing from birth to adulthood. Society thrives on the fact they should be catered to personally and everything quick and conveniently prepared under 1 roof instead of how things used to be YA KNOW WHEN THE WORLD WAS SUCH A BETTER PLACE....

After working for Toysrus for 6 years and getting hit with the news that my store will be shutdown in the next 2 month is horrific. I’ve been applying every where and it seems like there’s no hope.
