Hi! My name is Adriana and I have spent most of my working life, working for school districts and helping students with homework, speaking English and Spanish. I am a hard worker and my skills do not end at tutoring students. I am very crafty and handy, as well as resourceful.

im an adjunct and tutor who just got my PhD and I have four masters. Due to severe phsyical neurological disabilities, I have never been able to pass probation on any kid of job until i started tutoring and being an adjunct because the disabilities limit visual spatial, perceptual, motor coordination, balance, judgment, problem solving, mobility, etc. The only things I can do is teach college, tutor, and talk about what I know and do academic intellectual student type tasks. I have a very high IQ and have tried everything to no avail. For the last 25 years I have been an adjunct and tutor but it is not a steady income. I have been trying for full time positions and no one even responds. my university career services says cv and cover letter are excellent and yet no one responds. I think it is my disability. any ideas? Dr Reagan

For over 2 years I have been tutoring students who are working to complete their GEDS. I tutor in language arts and social studies. I also taught these subjects in secondary schools for 10 years. I was the program coordinator for a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity for 6 years. Now I'm looking for a part time position in education or clerical.

I'd like help to get an application for tutor.com. An account was set up for me, but it required a mobile phone. I don't have one. I have a Landline, and a Desktop Computer.. Can I still be a tutor? I hope someone can help me. I'm looking for something I can do from home part time. I sent a Post earlier listing my qualifications. Again, I hope someone can help me. Thank you.

I love working at The Student Connection. My work allows me to make a positive difference in the lives of many students. My qualifications allow me to work with young readers (grades K-8th), with college-bound teens on ACT/SAT prep and college applications (10th-12th), and with young men and women returning to grad school with GRE prep as well as their grad school applications. The team is great and the hours are flexible.
