Just had my unemployment hearing over the phone .. feel like I left off some important information.. but I hope I get it because I have been jobless almost going on two months! Its a shame what a temp agency will go through just because they dont want to pay taxes for you to get your unemployment benefits ... I was laid off from one of their clients April 27th . And they claim I didnt call in every week saying that I was available for work ! And they tried to offer me a job a week before my hearing . I find it funny how they never had anything to offer up until last week . They are scammers . Now I have to wait on the appeal referee decision

I live in winter haven Florida. I have been out of work for the past 10 months. I have an aa in science with over 14 years of call center supervisor experience. Looking for something in the customer service industry, doesn't have to be in a call center. I have been applying everywhere, I am almost 47, and have run out of money. If anyone has any suggestions please don't hold back, thanks again.

My company shut down and left san diego

Hi! I'm currently looking for a full time job. Preferably a clerk/cashier or overnight merchandise stocking position, but wouldn't mind working as a crew member for a fast food restaurant. I am looking to work in a positive environment with fun and friendly coworkers. No place too packed or busy as I do have anxiety, but a comfortable mix. #lookingforajob #noplacetoocrowded #anxiety #clerk/cashierjobs #overnightjobs #fastfood #crewjobs #unemployed #contactme

I have been unemployed for four months have been constantly putting in applications online for weeks now . I have only one Interview. I am really not liking being unemployed. Just wish someone would give me a chance. I have many 36 years of work experience in customer service, cooking, problem-solving engineer, and a jack of all trades. Not a single employer that I applied for will give me a chance.

I'm i have a situation. I just recently became unemployed. Out of work for a week went on a job interview got the job but it won't pay all my bills. Do I take the job or hold out for something better?

They can't contact your current employer, and my line of work doesn't require any kind of security clearance, and I don't think anyone is going to check anything after the fact.
Talking about why you were let go is never easy no matter what the circumstance, and for some interviews it has really led down a bad street. I have only been unemployed two months. My resume still says - present. Should I change it, or leave it and just not dwell on it in the interview and let them think what they want?

Its been 2 months since I graduated and still no callback from all the places Ive applied for (mostly banks) just a lot of rejection emails. So i decided to apply for a teller position (as opposed to what I was perviously business or personal banker) but almost every bank who has a teller position pays minimum wage (between $7.00 & $12.00) and I really dont want to go back to that. Still haven't gotten replies from two locations left since the 18th. Heres hoping.

I feel like I just won the Heisman Trophy with all the recruiter call backs I’m getting since I started working. I wonder if there’s a little hiring bias among employers with unemployed jobseekers.
