Well I have an interview tomorrow So I’m hoping it comes through I’ve been unemployed since July and my unemployment just ran out a few weeks ago. I really need this because I’m getting so frustrated. It’s just mentally draining.

I've worked for a large construction company for just over a year... Good pay, lots of hours. Over the last couple of weeks the work has slowed down... They won't work me (2 days last week) or lay me off. Am.I eligible for any type of unemployment compensation ( partial, full)???? I dont know what to do. Never been in a situation like this before... Bills are still due no matter what!!!! Please help me if you have any info on unemployment guidelines!!! Please????

I didn't know unemployment can deny you benefits. I was fired my my job and was told by the employer that they weren't going to Contest my benefits even though the reason I was fired was in the company policy as grounds for immediate termination. I immediately went and applied for unemployment benefits. When the online application asked "reason for getting fired?" I told the truth. I didn't think anything of it since the job stated they weren't going to contest. I was denied benefits, requested an appeal and lost that request also. I had a 2nd appeal with a board of benefits and was denied by them. The third step would have been to appeal the courts - cost money. I consulted a lawyer with legal aid and they just advised me in how to respond to the appeals and refused to take my case. When I talked with the employer, who by the way had just been promoted to director and never had any experience in firing an employee, stated that UI requested information from her including the employee handbook. They determined my actions were willful intent against company policy and denied my benefits. Now after talking with several others who said that I shouldn't have disclosed that much information and let them have the burden of proof on their end. Needless to say, I don't have any income while I work on getting another job. Moral of the story: don't offer more information than requested. What do you think?

So ive been out of work for 7 months now dam near in the welfare line. Got letter in mail denied my ssi. Denied unemployment. If it wasnt for my daughter i would be homeless . my right arm isnt functioning at all cant do simple daily activities . havent worked no income period. Just denied denied. Denief! Am 49 .and mentally am trying to deal with not being able to take care of myself. Or let alone depending in people. I just dont know what else to do. I need assistance from the government 1 time in my entire life and no one is there for me.i know what i would be better off dead. I swear am to this point! People always say they want to be rich or have alot of money. Not me u know what i want is my health if u dont have your health u dont have anything. Whats the point being a millionaire. And u cant get out of bed to spend the money? Pointless. So tired of being sick and tired! I never thought i wouldnt be able to work again. I made 30.000 dollars last year. This year maybe 3.000. Havent been able to work. I know my daughter tired of me. Am gonna make it easy on everybody. Time to check outta here (LIFE). Am useless anyway

I have filed for unemployment benefits since 2015 and sent all necessary documents to prove my eligibility. But my working permit expired a few weeks after and I have not received any benefits from them though my claims have not been denied. I have filed claims for all the 26 weeks entitlement. What rights do l have to my claim my benefits. Thanks.

I really hate when you bust you butt for a place . you are called and asked to do over time . you say yes to them more then once . you do what they ask . they call you all the time to see if you can do this or do that and u say yes . But then lies are said and they dont believe you because your a out spoken person .you believe in telling the truth and tjey cant handle it So with lies and betrayal u get fired . You apply for unployme2 and get denied and appeal it and they say you where a day late to apply . and the denied u again . I want to apeal again bedore the 1st . but i feel im being played . I have worked in the health feild for 20 years and i dont think any place should not pay . i did three years and workes over time lot and get lied on and then fired . My place i worked disnr show up for the hearing but they still said nope mo ey ..this world is meased up

I apply for jobs daily... I interview at least 2 or 3 times a week... usually more. I get calls from recruiters almost daily for positions, and they never come thru. I have done a number of 2nd and 3rd interviews and never seem to quite get to the job offer. I have now been unemployed over a year and about to run out of unemployment benefits. Extremely frustrated right now and just don't know what to do...

Just had my unemployment hearing over the phone .. feel like I left off some important information.. but I hope I get it because I have been jobless almost going on two months! Its a shame what a temp agency will go through just because they dont want to pay taxes for you to get your unemployment benefits ... I was laid off from one of their clients April 27th . And they claim I didnt call in every week saying that I was available for work ! And they tried to offer me a job a week before my hearing . I find it funny how they never had anything to offer up until last week . They are scammers . Now I have to wait on the appeal referee decision

my biggest mistake was putting up with a lot them i get laid off with no warning now they cut my unemployment off when we were told we can get it up to a year. that place was no good the co-workers were so unfriendly never spoke never smiled just a sad place to work at some wouldn't attend to the residents there it was not fun there at all

They will tell u r doing good job then loose u ur job then try to draw unemployment. That is where they lie about ur job of how well u do. Then turn around and said it came from another department. They can't tell the truth because in will put there job in danger. The people I work for where vets just let me but they stab me in the back u don't need vets like that.
