To land a job at #Urban Outfitters I would make sure to...

Don't work there. If you are injured the management will say your lying.

Something I learned at #Urban Home Based in Oxnard California ...

I was hired as the company’s visual merchandiser in 2012. I re-designed and re-displayed 8 entire stores of the company’s 11 stores. While I was pretty much left alone to do as I desired with store displays, and enjoyed my time there, I have nothing good to say about this company. The turn-over of employees was the highest I’ve seen anywhere I’ve worked. While every store manager was good at their job and easy to work with, the company owner and the hired district manager were horrible to both employees and store managers, and exhibited terrible—practically hellish—service to store customers; I was witness to this behavior many times. In addition, the store owner had absolutely NO idea how to run a furniture selling business, as was proven by how many professional salespeople quit when there wasn’t enough of a furniture selection to be able to sell to a large number of customer’s tastes. Because of this mismanagement, the company filed for bankruptcy in 2018 and closed all but 3 of their stores. I was witness to all of this, having worked directly with the store owner in the final year of its failing. Financial advisers would meet with us, we would try to convince the owner how to get the failing business back up and running, but he was adamant that everything was okay. Within 6 weeks the company went bankrupt.

I would not recommend that anyone apply for work at Urban Home. But if my word as a 6-year employee of the company is not to be believed, then go ahead and try working there. You will soon see what I mean, I guarantee you.

It was a fun environment but I will say the management there was not pleasing. But that was only the management when I was there

I felt proud to work for #Urban Air Adventure Park when...

Urban Air was a terrible place to work. There was no communication between management and myself. They would schedule me at the last minute and remove from the schedule at the last minute. Management is all young people who are rude and do not give you any guidance and tell you when you are doing something incorrect. They go behind your back and whisper to other employees when you are doing something incorrect instead of coming forward and letting people know what is being done wrong. I would not recommend this job to anyone.
