I decided to get married and there were no jobs in the area because 3 oil companies were on strike at the same time

I got a chance to work with so many Soldiers from everywhere. My over 20 year career was amazing but unfortunately I had to retire December 2019. I always wanted to serve my country since I was a little girl. Being able to travel to different places and protect our country God bless!! #SFCWalton(Retired)!! #20Years11Months!!

I wish I would have had more time to focus on improving crew training proficiency.

• Secure Job (always on time pay) • Sense of purpose in life • Opportunity to reach higher position and salary fairly quickly • Constant challenges and improvement in mental and physical aspects • Military benefits

I loved the comaraderie, the attention to detail, I loved the way we worked as a team.

Develops for most who enter, a can-do, get the job done, mindset. Develops leadership and following skills, important for any business success at all levels. Exposes individuals to foreign cultures and teaches positive behaviors required in a diverse work force and society. For individuals without clear goals coming out of high school, a great first job.

I loved being with a group of Soldiers, working as a team to accomplish the same mission. The friendships come and go but the teams will always be remembered.

Shooting Range, Respect, Friendship

It was good. Proud to serve my country.

Working in the United States Army gave me great pride and purpose. I learned to work well with others. I learned to adapt to many different situations. I feel molded me into a productive and positive person. There has been no greater honor to serve as an American Soldier.
