The Postal Service pays a decent salary and benefits. So, it's easy to get complacent and I regret that I didn't try to complete my degree going to college part-time.

If you're thinking about working for the US Postal Service, do it. When you start out, you'll likely feel overwhelmed and exhausted to begin with. I did, but am glad I weathered the storm., Just stick it out. The pay and benefits are very good.

During the holidays the office were I'm employed is very old. Being such space is very limited. You can't move around or get out at a decent hour to do your deliveries. Plus you are dealing with an inexperienced management staff that the district heads put there. Our problem was we needed someone who was prepared for the job. Not trainees. It is the reason Waxahachie is the worst Post office in the nation.

in 2015 I left the post office, i was basically tricked into leaving being told if i bring mail back i would be fired, but working a new area that you know nothing about could slow you up especially when you have businesses you are delivering to.
