Honest made money. Hours were convenient to be volunteer at my child school. Very good experiences. A job where you are able to grow. 🙏🏽✅

Good pay & benefits is what attracted me ro the USPS. I worked hard for 30 years and was fortunate to gain experience many areas of the company.

The Post Office has a lot of hardworking people, carriers, clerks, maintenance, janitorial, and management. #stressful #ageism

Retired now! But when working management had no idea how to make post office work or be profitable. They wanted to recycle ideas from the past that didn’t work before. Also continually violated the union contracts which cost thousands of dollars yearly and repeatedly! Great benefits but a lot of BS to put up with. I worked 36 years!

I loved the people I worked with ,the people on my route, the dogs. I had a strong sense of duty and and accomplishment. I was part of a company that was insuring a letter or parcel sent around the world was going to be delivered

I enjoyed the day to day outside mail delivery, meeting new folks and seeing long time customers. The excersice was fabulous. Its a shame most folks dont write letters.

I started as a window clerk, change to letter carrier.:then took the test for postal inspection ,i had the highest score in the state of ohio.i worked as a postal police officer from 1979 to 1988. I didn't take the offer to move to California and worked as a mailhandler until 2014

Great job, good pay and benefits.

Thinking I could be a friend to the 17 people I supervised.
