For those of you who are not End who might be new grad CNAs or seeking other patient contact positions, here is a suggestion. If you are not working or only working part time in a NON medical position, check Hospitals in tour area for Volunteer Departments. Once you find one (and most hospitals have them), go ahead and volunteer. When various managers see how well you interact with patients and staff members they may become interested in hiring you. You will have become a "known" entity rather than someone totally unknown. This is the reason why employee referrals frequently are hired ahead of the general applicant population. If someone has an excellent employee performance record, it is assumed that anyone they refer would most likely make a good employee.

For me, my favorite part of working for UPS is that we give back to the people and communities we serve. UPS this past year helped send 263 relief shipments across 43 countries during hard times. A bunch of us even planted some trees on Earth Day last year. I just like the fact that they care. It says a lot and makes me proud to work for them.

I was a volunteer of Rancho Los Amigos hospital for a few months . Pls let me know if I can get a job interviw.

I have lived in Nederland , Texas all my life . I want someone to drive through Nederland , and say i want to live here . I was really dissapointed the way our town was looking and nothing was being done . I decided to make it my job to clean things up . I volunteered my time , tools and truck to haul debris from cleaning the sidewalks of Nederland Avenue . I was raised by my parents to respect others . I was taught if you want something you have to work for it .

Neighborhood watch is a duty and if have children then already know. Thats an important job thats per diem and full-time. Can't leave another to raise your kids but neighbors can neighborhood watch. No reason a child can't walk to and from school and/or store without being disrupted or troubled.
