It’s a great job to practice your craft in the restaurant industry.

Let me tell you everyday can be stressful at Waffle House if you let it. However, there was this one time when we were on the cook line with only two cooks on a Sunday morning. It was like nothing but big families were coming in. People food kept getting remade, due to over cooked food or something was forgot on the order. That the waiters had no patience with us cooks.

Well I was working overnight one day and it was around four or five that morning. The waiter and I had a little miscommunication, the customer wanted scrambled eggs light. Instead, I made them scrambled hard, as hit saw hit his food he got upset and said is the cook stupid or what. They just let anyone work at Waffle House. I then walked over to him and said my apologies I can make them over again, but he continued to complain. So I stayed quite and made my own little comments in my head.

One thing I love about working at Waffle House is that they’re willing to work with you on the level you’re at in life.

I enjoyed my co workers they was more like a family and my costumer's was always a delight to meet and some are regulars and they will become just as important as your crew an so many things I love about waffle House but main one is my mangers an districts and all the ones who have been apart of waffle House for years are my favorite an they always was there for me an it was good to have people care when u have noone but ur work staff that seem to be by you.

I was surprised at how fast i became close to the people i worked with it was like i had a family not coworkers

They said I was being snappy but the fact is they are lazy and dont want to do their job the correct way. I got took off the schedule for hear say basically..

I loved the hours, my co workers, and talking to my customers. I lovex going to work everynight.

I loved my customers.I became attached like they were family
