Was not happy with team leads Two of them had very nasty attitudes They had their pick of who they liked and dislike And was not afraid to show it I worked in on line grocery If need be I can give you my name Win number What ever you need
Show up on time for every scheduled shift. Work hard through the whole shift, helping your team. Clean up after yourself before you leave to set up the next shift for success. You WILL be promoted quickly with a good work ethic and by being reliable.
I may not have any funny stories about what someone said. But I do have a funny story about what happened to me personally. It was a half-hour into my shift and I was over by my watermelon bins. I stopped in front of one and noticed a sour smell coming from it. I ran back to my produce fridge to grab a pair of gloves and crate. We had no empty carts that I could use. After digging around I found two very imploded watermelon that I had to hand-carry in the crate that I had. I left a nice, rotten trail. I was covered from the waist down. I looked like I came out of a watermelon fun-factory.

At first I was proud to work for Walmart. Things started to change in 2005. Mgmt started to get greedy. Corporations as well. 2014 they change vacations from 4 weeks to one. I missed it by 1 yr & I would have been grandfather in for the 4 wks. This was time earned. Now they've got new PTO which doesn't help associates.
I would advise anyone and everyone to stay far away from working at Walmart. I always heard stories myself and still took the job offer from them therefore leaving the other Company I was working for and it bit me in the butt hard as hell let me tell you I was harrassed, all the older employees tried to intimidate me and run me off I was approached by 3 other females one shift like they were trying to jump me so I advised them I would not argue inside because I needed my job well then they done petty crap leaving me alone with lines of customers. I was the only person whom didn't call in hardly and always worked over and call ins but they done me and another woman dirty dirty and not only was it bad loosing my job in the beginning of covid but I'm now fighting unemployment again after 3 months because Walmart lies again after they arrested me after I had been off 6 days they entrapped me there as if I was being moved to new position and hauled me in cuffs out slandered our names in local news paper and now deny it after the fact we went to court and I won against the city and against Walmart for the sorry crap they put us through and having the whole town watch us ESCORTED out in cuffs just ridiculous and no person should ever have to go through this as I did. #frustrated
