I have worked in a number of environments from customer service to hospitality to office settings. One world I don’t know too much about is warehouses!

Do you work in a warehouse? What is your day to day like?! Pros and cons to the job?

I want to hear from you!

Are you looking for a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an organization that will invest in you as much as you invest in them? Then read on! I have a great relationship with this client and most of their management was placed by us, I even hired their Plant Manager. They have a wonderful employee rewards program and they hire more than 90% of our placements for permanent, full-time work with them. It is a temperature controlled environment where they blast music for a more fun time.

2nd Shift – M-Thurs 4pm-2:30 am. 3 day weekends!

What You’ll Receive: • $13/hour start pay • Paid every Friday • Benefit options available day 1 • Upward mobility, this client LOVES to promote from within and many of our workers are now in management roles • The unique ability to be a part of a growing organization during expansion • Rewards for meeting target goals: Pizza Parties, Bonuses, etc. • The ability to work overtime during peak seasons

What You’ll Be Doing: • Monitor that all ingredients are available or need to be ordered • Measure amounts of ingredients and mix together • Place mixture in oven and monitor baking time and temperature • Monitor that product is removed when finished and cooled, stored, and labeled properly • Check quality and identify any damaged or defective product • Evaluate quality of ingredients and finished product • Document quantities baked, ingredients used, oven times, and temperatures • Maintain a clean work area and follow all health and safety regulations • Complete closing shift checklist including running floor machine, emptying trash, and disposing of broken product properly • Make sure all equipment is turned off at the end of shift • Perform end of day inventory counts baked and unfinished pretzels

What You’ll Need To Have: • Food safety card from First District Health Unit is required prior to starting on the production line • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively • Prior experience in bakeries or industrial kitchens preferred, but not required

Work Environment & Physical Demands: • Some stations require you to lift bags/boxes/crates of product that can be up to 40lbs • For some stations you will need to be able to bend, twist, and stand on your feet for an entire shift • Exposure to food production/warehouse environment which may involve noise and fluctuating temperatures. • Music will be played during shifts and there is Air Conditioner and Heat (cooling stations for product have industrial fans currently until they are moved into a separate station)

Does this sound like something you or your friends/family would be interested in? Then I would love to speak with you more! #hiring #warehousejob #productionjob #recruiter #recentgrads #entrylevel #WarehouseAssociate #WarehouseStocker
