The General Manager hired me when the hotel opened October 2002. On March 16, 2018 the 5th General Manager of this hotel terminated me citing my position was eliminated. However 2 upper management positions were added. I was one or two years from retirement and my hourly wage was at its premium; both of which made me feel this was discrimination. Other sister hotels of this corporation in New York City - the General Managers have Administrative Assistants but not the Westin New York Times Square.
