Meat Lead Assistant Market Manager at Winn Dixie

It's pretty basic man ...I worked there for about 10 years and when I did mine it was just a little meet and great nothing real professional sad to say then they'd send you out with your drug testing paper work they would send us to what ever the local company was I can't recall ...although sense then more recently I heard they quit drug testing except for promotions and accidents...hope that helps ..I'm about to go work for publix now and I'll tell you what they way they handle their interviews and just how the treat their employees seem much much better and more professional and they offer better benefits as well

An important lesson I learned when I was young and working at WinDixie is to never get so comfortable in your work that you lose the desire to grow. I had cake-decorating tasks delegated to me by the lead decorator often. She was aware of her skill but was stagnant growth-wise. I spent so much of my free time watching videos and educating myself on the craft, that eventually I surpassed her as far as knowledge of newer/more elaborate techniques went. I remember that experience because it is what taught me to constantly try to improve.
