Hey gang! Hope your all well....or as well as can be given the off and strange times we live in right now on many levels. I want some feedback from others perhaps in my shoes....I was unemployed before lock down kicked in for us March 16th in Wisconsin right.....I was working part-time as an online fitness specialist for my previous client roster of 12 clients I have in the USA, UK and EU right.....I also was doing article contributions for some fitness outlets I have had for a few years. Thats all I have been doing since Jan 1 when I got back to USA/WI post 1 year term in Italy as a contractor with the USAF. I am not self employed technically as I have no business, LLC or anything like that, just remote work outlets with my clients and blogs, websites and magazines I submit to. I also live with a sibling and his gf ever since my return with the intent of getting out in 2 months or so when I landed a job. I almost did with 3 hot job leads with invites to come interview on site (out of state) but then lock downs came and all 3 got paused hard just like that! Now I have been on hold for these 3 job leads while still living in my brothers apartment, doing remote work, barely part-time with no unemployment income since I did not lose a job as a result of COVID or the quarantine matters. I have no debts or payments, no dependents, no spouse and no bills other than my cell so I am lucky there but.....I also have minimal income and no way to get these jobs back on the table until they can open back up and bring me in to finish final stage interview steps and then.....hope to land an offer and a good old JOB. What is one to do other then wait it out and be patient when your placed in a bind like this? What are others doing who were not working before COVID hit and now have more hurdles to find work? #unemployment
