For today's you know you're from Rhode Island I would like to showcase an ICON!!!
Yes, that's right, the Del's lemonade truck.
You know you're from RI when you can fully admit that Del's is NOT just lemonade. As in, there is no possible other lemonade that could taste as good so don't even bother. Also if you attempt to drink it with a straw someone will disown you...most likely.
You also know that you are from RI when you recognize that fall has ended and winter is coming because these trucks are no longer parked on the streets of Rhode Island.
Has anyone ever worked on one of these trucks during the summer?
I would have, but I probably would have just consumed all the product, haha.
So for today's you know you're from Rhode Island I will share this video and let it speak for itself.
As a native Rhode Islander, I can tell you everything is based on location and the amount of time it takes to get there haha and everyone knows everyone. The state is small after all ; ) but that's what makes RI so awesome.

I grew up in RI and I have total pride in my state, but the "You know you're from RI when..." ALWAYS make me laugh because they are so TRUE!
So for today's you know you're from RI...
You give people directions to a location based on places that USED to be there.
It doesn't matter if the building or location has been gone for 30 plus years, you will still use it as a landmark!
Anyone else give directions like this???
