When people for some reason think I have a Graphic Design background because I have an animation degree. They sure don't know a lot about animation and out training. What is the point in being smart, well educated when most of the employers around me only hire based on how well you do on a personality test?
I Had spoken to a recruiter over email last week on Wednesday. I was for a call center position, I have experience in that. I spoke emailed and called her. She never replied until I went to the staffing agency and let them know if she can get in contact with me. She emailed me after I sent that message. So she was suppose to send me an assessment test. I actually think that she never sent it because I kept checking for it in my spam. She mentioned she would resent it around 11am never received it I mention this to her again. She said well I don't know what else to do. She never mentioned I had to go on the staffing website and make an account. Finally I called the company and left a message with hr. But no one ever called. So of course being the person that I am I continued to email and call the recruiter back. Finally I received the assessment test. Passed it got the interview on Friday. Now it's like 20 minutes away from me. I met with two people doing the interview. They asked all these questions regarding what would you do in a situation and how would you resolve it. I worked for this company before. I answered all the questions and I asked. They said they where interviewing 30 people. It's an entry level position. They would get in contact with me with in 48 hrs. They sent me an email that I was not hired and they couldn't let me know why. I feel annoyed only because they made it seem like everything went well and then they are like no. I could of saved some gas. it would be nice to know what they actually are looking for. I mean the resume says it all. If they where worried that I could proably take one of there position or something. I mean Come on , If I where a recruiter I would match my clients or employees to what it is they are looking for and go by what their resume info. I would meet with the employee and go over what it is they are looking for in particular. I mean when I went to the interview. They weren't even dresses professional. Most interviews I go to. Most people are not dressed how they tell you too. Well I hope to get a job soon. as always take care and god bless.
