I liked working for Aramark. I had a child that needed me at home so i had to leave. I definitely would work for them again, as a supervisor or manager!

Let's be honest. Aramark isn't a terrible company to work for but it seems like nobody cares about the company anymore. The job is a dead end. Once you are inside it there's not much to go. All you can do is hope somebody recognizes your skills so you become a supervisor or whatever. If I was you I would suggest getting the job and begin looking for something else.

Learned how to perform inventory, set up and breakdown of equipment, closing out registers, planning and ordering products for events, and sharpened customer service skills, to name a few.

Don't expect to be treated with respect. Management has a knack for making you feel inferior. Your intelligence will come under fire for any and every situation. If you can get past that, the pay is good and there's little other option as far as comparable pay is concerned. Consider this company as a stepping stone to keep the bills paid as you work towards something better. The only reason I can tolerate it without sinking deeper into my already established depression is the fact that my particular job has me out of sight, out of mind. If you find yourself employed with Aramark, the best advice I can give you is to avoid being in the presence of management. If you can manage that, you'll have a decent to almost good day. If you do run into them, just brace yourself for the abuse: it will be over soon so you can get back to your job.

A #stressful #Aramark day my last day

A trainer put me on a very fast line and I couldn’t keep up and got dizzy from the speed and thought if I had to work this line it was a deal breaker. I’m 58 yrs. old and can’t move that quick or my hand-eye coordination is not what it used to be.

Aramark seems to be a great business to work for, they have several different entities included in there business, in fact they're a big conglomerate corporation if I would have a chance I'd stay with Aramark, just in a different setting.
