Last minute work hours changes. Such as covering another workers hours.

What is it mean if a company won't even call you for an interview unless you are willing to agree to alternating days and night every 2 weeks and mandatory overtime?

They aren't flexible with employees. I have worked shifts & have found I need a regulated sleep schedule & could never work an alternate schedule. I am grateful to learn this before I was offered a job.

  • D) Never- you’re at work and not available

I once worked with someone who talked on the phone 📞for a solid 15 minutes on her phone EVERY shift I worked with her. Needless to say, it wasn't an emergency, and I had to cover her during that time 🙄

Employers and interviewers are looking for problem solvers, or people with a problem-solving mindset.

What does this mean to a boss? They want someone that will try out reasonable solutions to issues on their own rather than always depending on colleagues or managers.

I have a job in retail and I really love what I am doing...but the people i work with make me hate my job and myself. I have thought about getting a different job but the stress of finding a job in my area that I like is scary. #retail #advice
