I love my dad and I know not every person out there feels the same about their own, but I feel lucky today. Not just because it's Father's Day, but everyday. My parents owned a business for 23 years and my dad taught me so much about what it means to work for what you want in life. I wouldn't be the same person without his teachings. I can never thank him enough for the lessons he has taught me and continues to teach me as I navigate through life. My husband lost his own father this past winter, so I am reflecting and being grateful to not only my dad, but all those that are with us and that we care about. It's easy to forget, but life goes by in a flash. So today, I thank my dad for his patience and support. What will you thank your dad for?

When you feel frustrated and upset during your job search just know that you are not alone, but also that there are things to be grateful for! Don't loose sight of them and hold on tightly. Perhaps it's your family or your amazing friends, or maybe it's your garden outside that takes some of your stress away. Still not sure ? Here are [60 things] (https://www.lifehack.org/articles/communication/60-things-thankful-for-life.html) to be grateful for : )

“People don’t know we appreciate them unless we show it. We verbalize it. We tell them. We assume that they know, but they don’t.” This man went on a mission to thank one person in his life everyday of that whole year. His story might surprise you. Check it out and remember that your appreciation just might change someone’s day, month, or even their year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNfAnkojhoE

Thanksgiving is almost here and it’s time to...well, be thankful : ) The truth is when you’re looking for work it isn’t always easy to feel your best. The stories I am about to share are from people JUST like you who have been where you are right at this very moment. They were without a job, nervous, unsure, but hopeful that they would find a great opportunity. Well guess what?! They found it, and they were kind enough to share their journeys with us!
I hope these posts inspire you to know that if they can do it, so can YOU! As one of my favorite sayings goes,“You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” Don’t give up, no matter what. We are here to help! So let’s congratulate these folks, ask them questions and learn from them. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday next week. I am grateful to be apart of this community of strong, brilliant, and awesome individuals! You truly amaze us everyday.
