In general it’s a great school district. They may not be willing to work with any crisis you might be dealing with, may not back up their employees, but the co-workers are great, the students inspiring. I was proud to work there and I looked forward to waking up and doing my job. So if you can keep all these things in perspective, it’s a great deal of fun.

Trusting in my supervisor and superintendent to know why I had to make the decision I did and thinking years of working there would matter.

Back in 2004 I was driving along and there was an elderly woman that couldn't walk very well trying to cross the street and catch the bus I was driving. I pulled the bus over and I went out and helped her crossed the street and I lowered the bus for her to make it easier for her to get on. Not long after that I got called to the office about how pleased that woman was. I received an accommodation award signed by the supervisor and some other first level supervisors also known as Instructors.
