I was hired by a headhunter for the position at GMAC mortgage, managing their construction lending program nationally. I enjoyed it because I was able to work from my home office, and I traveled throughout the United States visiting beautiful planned communities that our clients were building. We worked with Pulte, Toll Brothers and other large national builders and developers. Also enjoyed working with the branch Network, helping the loan officers do more new construction business. #advice #jobsearch #mortgagebanking #careeradvice

I have 20 years of experience in brand marketing from identifying brand opportunities to leading product launches. You name it, I have done it.

In addition, I started my own business that, for reasons well out of my control, I have to either sell or close it.

But in my unique career journey, I have discovered something (again?) that I should have realized sooner.

I love to write, and I excel at it: blogs, copy, name generation, social media posts, etc. I am happiest when I am putting words on a "page" for an audience to later engage with. And, given that I have spent the majority of my career selling things that people either don't need or shouldn't have, I understand completely the power and tools of persuasion.

Now, I want -- need -- to leverage my skills to fight the good fight. So, if all the stars were aligned, I would want to shine for a compelling cause or worthy political movement.

The question: How can I make this dream career change happen?

it is not the employees working together..it is the lazy ones mixed with the good ones...and team leaders who are in power to get rid of the slow lazy ones, but do the opposite,..or I would still be working at warehouse.. #inspiration #careeradvice

It's Like the Longer Your Habit and Absenteeism They Love Your Tattoos

Their online reviews should tell you that; the good ones are what the company writes so they don't look like bad people.

At first they were amazing and made sure I loved everything about my job and took care of my needs. First signs of troubles, they pull back and things get a bit different. However, my situation was not all Resources’s fault. It had some to do with the empty promises of the company I worked at.

Im a hard worker and Im reliable but they give everyone else promotions and not me. My shift lead said not to go over him now that he's promoted. I always show up and do my job. What do I need to do to get a promotion?

Any advice on switching careers? I've worked as a high level executive assistant my whole career, but now looking to switch to research. Preferably work from home. #jobsearch #advice #careeradvice #workfromhome
