As a Customer Care Representative you will guide members through their healthcare questions via customer calls and e-mails or help providers with answering questions about member plans. Here’s what a typical day may look like: From the moment you login, you’ll be focused on answering customer calls, demonstrating our values of caring as you proactively work to resolve our members questions and concerns You’ll strive for first call resolution, working to resolve member issues at the point of contact You’ll have dual monitors and leverage computer based resources to find answers to customers questions, and help simplify next steps for members without giving them homework You may reach out to partners in other departments, or to Doctors’ offices to help resolve a customer concern You’ll support your teammates, flex as business needs require to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers

Qualifications Needed: No previous healthcare experience is needed, we will set you up for success with extensive work specific training.
Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility for your team mates and our members, demonstrated by the simplest things like being on time and available to meet member’s needs, to being easy to work with and having a positive attitude A passion for serving others, and willingness to learn the heath-care industry Great communication and listening skills with the ability to be empathetic and desire to help resolve members questions at the first point of contact Must exemplify Anthem Values: Accountable, Trustworthy, Caring, Innovate, Easy to Do Business With Ability to work any 8 hour shift between the hours of 7 AM - 8:30 PM Monday - Friday.

I had received calls from customers and they would tell me that other customer service operators hung up on them and then they said that it as me. I know who it was but the leads were in on it too.

I have a mantra I live by in all my work history. Especially in management ; I Never ask any employee to do anything that I haven't or won't do myself. No job is too small and when the team holds the same standards. The business runs like a well oiled machine. Therefore giving the staff a feeling of pride in theirselves and their boss. Naturally then the customers see this and have a positive experience . In turn they tell their friends and not only do you repeat customers but due to positive staff and customers you have potential new customers. So going the extra mile w you in mngmt or as an employee pays off in so many forms.

Hello. I am looking for some advice. I've been looking for an administrate job for about 3 months now. My background is in apartment leasing and currently I am a realtor. I do have computer skills but not strong excel.... my customer service is spot on as well. My money is running out. Ive tried using temp agencies as well, but nothing has come of that either. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I cant believe how I changed someone's morning. While working yesterday, apparently I really made someone's morning. Apparently one of the customers was near tears, I guess I said all the right things. She called my place of employment and said I had made her day. She made mine too. It's all about customer relation. Understanding customer needs, treat them the way you want to be treated. I go out of my way.

I remember My 5th year at The Home Depot, I was working in electrical at the time and they always talked about pushing credit like to were I new if I could make myself noticed in a good way lol then this is how I'm gonna do it, so every customer I approached it was mandatory I drop my Credit-Script before I close my sell with that customer and I'm telling u all I needed was something to fish with that was good enough to get them to bite. And store manager and I at the time she agreed with me giving any customer that got approved for a consumer account got anything in the store that was $25 are less they wanted for free are $25 off anything and u will be surprised how many jump on that offer. I would open 10+ a day 50-60 in a week and top it off I got them to make store money to use on anything to use for an incentive to get more employee on the same page. + I finally got noticed........

I was fired and and all they told me was i broke policy when i checked in to it i was told someone in corporate called my manager and told them to let me go and don't ask so really i don't know what the reason really was been with company for 3 years and made them money and always made sure to take care of customers
