I have dealing with customers in every job but one thing that I found so cute and funny. When I was a Manager at Eckerd Drug store (years ago) a gentleman came in asking for duck tape and my clerk told him that we don't sell hunting supplies.

Well, I was the owner and I enjoyed working with people.

I have been put in many different situations where I have had an irate customer. There's only so far you can go to make the customer happy, if you cannot solve the problem, your supervisor can. Know when it's time to turn it over.

the work culture was a mesh between great mgt and employee competence.as distributors we were entrusted with great authorized and unauthorized acct.,s.these were effective because of impeccable route books in effect for years,so both mgt. and route salesmen knew what to order and where to put product.i knew 2 days before settling out what i would take home.i enjoyed the relationships established with my customers and knew alot of them on a first name basis.this was a culture in which everyone was happy.my supervisors at bunny were outstanding.

Mine was a guy who would come in and order a DOUBLE meatball wrap.. Even though he came in like twice a week he’d still pause when we asked what cheese he wanted and then say ‘white cheese’ like that was a real thing and we’d already corrected him 100 times that it’s american cheese. Not to mention this thing was impossible to close and he always tries to use this points card that isn’t really connected to Subway and since my franchise is independent we don’t accept it and he knows it!! I don’t understand him at all

100% Miracle Treat Day was the most stressful day. You get people coming in and they get so much stuff and then you ask would you like to donate $2 to the Miracle Hospital up in Madison? They would always say yes or no but it wasn't a big deal if they said no. I do remember when got 5 minute breaks and it was extremely busy we all didn't get out on time.

A customer had no idea of what they wanted and told me they never received a drink they liked. I said that’s going to change today. After she answered my questions, I determined a martini would be great. I made her a lemon drop martini that she loved so much she ordered two more.

I'm still employed but, I would like to have something in phone sales that offers more hours and is considered full time employment.

I began working at Walgreens because my family needed some extra cash when my mother was sick. We all get those grumpy customers now and again, but on one shift, I was running the register when an old lady called me an “ignorant high school drop out.” I accidentally messed up her change by 5 cents and she freaked. She told me I was NOT going anywhere in my life. I took a deep breath, smiled, and told her that I was working there while my mom was sick because my father needed to be home to care for her and that I was actually still in school. She came over to me and said she was so sorry. I thought she was going to cry right then and there, so I told her it was ok and she left.
I will never accept that I am anything less than awesome, no matter who tells me otherwise, and you shouldn't either!
