I've been waiting for my unemployment since April 26 2020. Only to be ran around and let down. I have lost everything since. I been a cna for 10 years never had to file. Would like to apart of this covid fight but limited to funds. And resources. I just want what I've worked for. Nothing more. My unemployment would sure help me with getting back on my feet. #benefits #covid #eligibility #help # Oklahoma #healthcare

Hey TS, did you qualify for the Lost Wages Assistance program? Check the Kentucky department of labor website and see if there are any other assistance programs you qualify for and get your application(s) in as soon as possible.

Are you currently looking for a new job? If so, what type of employment are you pursing?

I currently receive disability benefits for SSDI. I also had a part time job that made ends meet, that I have lost back in April due to the covid-19 movement. I worked as a housecleaner and babysitter since November of last year. Can I file unemployment for my lost wages? I didn't earn enough to file taxes last year. So my fiance just claimed me as a dependant, which in turn kept me from receiving the first stimulus check. I am really struggling and need assistance. Any advice? #unemployment #benefits #coronavirus #eligibility #help #GEORGIA

I would apply for the pandemic unemployment not the regular one. If you have reduced hours they will help. Just apply and choose the debit card method

My child's school closed due to covid 19, which caused attendance issues and I was fired from my staffing agency job. Does the work search requirement being waived save me from the requirements of followup and job search thru the agency to qualify for unemployment benefits? I didn't realize you have to contact them within 24 hrs and then wait three days to file. Does this still apply due to work search requirements being waived? Thanks #help #eligibility #unemployed #momlife #thestruggleisreal #coronavirus #unemployment

Hi Michelle: Happy to help! You will have to take the steps described below to get your working papers If you are in school, go to your guidance office and ask for a working papers application. If you are not in school, go to the nearest school by where you live because they are required to give you the application. Fill out the application and have your parent or guardian sign the application. When you have filled out the working papers application and had your parent or guardian sign it, you have to take it back to the school's guidance office. Obtain proof of age, such as your birth certificate, a state-issued photo ID, driver's license, or passport. You will also need to have had a doctor's exam within the last 12 months saying you are physically fit. A physical given at a school for sports will count for your physical exam. If you are not sure where you can get a physical, ask your guidance office or call your doctor.
