My advice to people interested in working at ATI Ambulance is to be friendly and professional. This company will prepare you for interacting with the geriatric community, coping with patient death, and writing accurate reports. The company is designed so that, whether your interest is to join as a stepping stone to 9-1-1 response or to carry out your career giving care to the community on the medical transport side of the industry you will succeed. With all of that said, if you truly wish to grow in your field this company will do everything in its power to help you attain that goal. However, it would be inadvisable to treat this company and its patients like "just a job" as this company holds both patient care and employee attitude to a higher standard.

I really liked volunteering at DLSC it was one of the best times in my life.

Hi i am an assistant manager right now but this past few weeks i feel my manager is not communicating with me about some decisions he had made at work. I feel he is not aware that i am his right hand side on anything related to work.. Few days ago i close the store with a few crew leaders and 2 regular employees well he jump me and comand the crew leader to be in charge of the shift. He knew that if he is not working i am in charge. Thats an assistant manager job. Well i was pissed but i haven't talked to him and confront him about what is really going on. The thing is that yesterday they called me for a position at a hospital... Which i think is a good start since i really want to be an EMT. But i dont know what to decide. I had move few hrs from home to be in this position as an assistant manager but i feel they not giving me my place. What can i do?

It allows me the opportunity to give back to the community. Since Wayne is such a large town with an enormous amount of businesses, schools and residents, it provides me the opportunity to learn and/or enhance my EMT skills. Some of the additional skills taught are rescue and vehicle extrication. These are skills not every Volunteer First Aid Squad is taught or performs as they are normally handled by the Fire Department. With Wayne, they are performed by the highly trained members of their First Aid Squad.

Respect knowledge of take charge of any situation bad or good also let me have a soft spot show my kindness and yet be firm.Working with other co-workers was always something new we made it fun but yet we knew our boundaries and they knew there duties . I was one whom others could come speak to if need some advice or a shoulder to lean on
