My ui benefits ended on the 26th and I re filed for an extension and havnt got a decision yet. Does anyone know why it is taking so long? I've been out of work since last March I need something to come thru. #extension #benefits #coronavirus
Hi. I am in CA and after 24 weeks my unemployment ran out and apparently I don't qualify for an extension.
I had a full-time salaried job in the performing arts world. Many colleagues who were let go at the same time as I was were able to get an extension. Why can't I? I also can't get anyone on the phone at EDD to explain why I don't qualify for the same extension my colleagues received.
Does anyone have advice? Anyone been in the same boat? This is awful, and I know many of you are experience t he same or worse stress. I appreciate your response.
