Do you think it's OK to ask about the status of the job applied for or will this diminish your chances of getting the job? #followup

As a former hiring manager, I considered it a plus if someone followed up. In fact, if I was considering them and on the fence between them and another candidate, I would choose the person who followed up.

Hi Adrianna. I agree, if you don't hear back within a week, call and check in. Best of luck!!

Depends on what you are applying for. Usually a week sometimes a few days. They have to go through the DM

As with any other job, keep looking after submitting your application, you should submit several per week to similar companies and roles.

@Shannon Dulas Hello Shannon, typically it’s advised you wait a week before following up but I highly recommend that you keep applying to other positions while you’re waiting. Hope this helps and good luck 👍🏼

Pero yo ya fui ala entrevista normalmente cuanto tardo en saber si si voy a trabajar con ellos

I went to the interview process and everything and cam fox said he could contact us within 30 minutes to have one one-on-one. But I never heard back from him. Which was disappointing. Cuz I was really excited about getting this job. Unfortunately though I had a lot of obstacles that kept holding me back from being able to get online for the interview on time. So for that reason I don't think I got the job. Even though each one of the obstacles I was dealing with honestly wasn't even my fault but I understand how it goes. #didigetthejob? #AfterInterviewingprocess&expectations #ForTheLoveOfGodPlsSomeoneHIREME #advice #jobsearch #interview #followup

Hey @Christina Ortiz, welcome to Jobcase community. Job market is very competitive and it takes time and discipline to get a job nowadays. I recommend you keep applying for jobs.

@Christina Ortiz Hello Christina, the best advice is to keep going and applying. If you stop now it’s a guarantee you won’t get a job. Try the Jobcase job board, new roles are added all the time. Try utilizing an internet search as well I’ve known many to have much success with this. Hope this helps and good luck 👍🏼
Absolutely. Don’t push but follow up and show some interest.
