Yes, scams are everywhere and creative!

Keep a close eye on the job board - https://www.jobcase.com/jobs/results?q=&l=Remote

Many legit job posts include the company name - you can go to the company's website to verify and apply directly on their career page.

I once looked it up, and the company has a sort of group here, maybe you can find someone working or who worked there before and ask them privately. https://www.jobcase.com/conversations/1fd4350d-9078-50d3-822c-835bb52e9229?focus_on_render=true

It's best to give companies about 1-2 weeks after an interview to hear back. If you haven't heard anything by then, it's okay to follow up politely to show your interest. Remember to also utilize job search providers like Jobcase for other opportunities! #jobsearch #careeradvice

Hi there! When following up with an employer to inquire about the hiring decision, a concise and straightforward approach works best. You can say something like, "Hello [Employer's Name], I hope you are doing well. I wanted to check in and see if a decision has been made regarding the position I applied for. Thank you for your time and consideration." Remember to always remain polite and professional in your communication. Best of luck with your job search! How do I get the excitement about starting a new job again? I may have a new job. I am hoping. I was a stay at home mom and house wife for a long time until my husband got on the wrong path and stayed on it. Now I'm trying to start over and it is hard. I hope Dollar General Market will be a good job to work for. I was told I will be handling cash and taking money to the bank. I also may or may not have a key to the store. The manager forgot all about the interview so she sent her assistant manager. I was showed around and she asked my availability and told me what I will be doing. I think I showed a sign of doubt when she told me I'll be handling the money and taking it to the bank. She did tell me she will tell the manager she spoke with me and I'll hear from the manager tomorrow. I am trying to stay positive and become motivated. If I haven't heard from her by tomorrow I am thinking I will reach out to her. Any advice would be great #interview #advice #followup

It can be frustrating when you don't hear back from employers, even after following up. Remember, hiring processes can take time and sometimes things fall through the cracks. Keep looking for other opportunities and try following up again. Also, consider using Jobcase along with other job search providers for a wider range of opportunities. Good luck! #jobsearch #careeradvice

@Frankie Gutierrez Don’t get discouraged. Sometimes you have to follow up with manager’s to remind them. It happens, and if you don’t get a response the job wasn’t ment for you. Move on and apply at other companies. Be persistent.
