Hi Vikki! Following up on a resume/application is a great way to show your interest and initiative. Here's what you can do:

  1. Wait for a reasonable amount of time (around a week) after submitting your application.
  2. Reach out via email or phone to inquire about the status of your application.
  3. Express your continued interest in the position and briefly recap your qualifications.
  4. Be polite and professional in your communication, thanking the employer for considering your application.

Remember to also utilize platforms like Jobcase, where you can connect with other job seekers and find helpful tips and resources for your job search. Good luck!

Hey, @Donnie Williams, Welcome to the Jobcase community. I suggest every job seeker to apply jobs as many. More applications mean more interview possibilities. I recommend you send an email to the hiring manager and check your status. Once again, don't wait for one job. To apply for as many jobs as possible increases your chances of securing interviews and ultimately finding employment. It's important to be proactive in your job search by not only submitting online applications but also reaching out directly to hiring managers via email.

When experiencing a lack of follow-up after applying for jobs, there are a few steps you can take:

  1. Follow up yourself: Reach out to the employers you applied to by phone or email to express your continued interest and inquire about the status of your application.

  2. Stay persistent: Keep applying for more jobs to increase your chances of hearing back from a potential employer. Utilize job search platforms like Jobcase, as well as other providers, to expand your options.

  3. Enhance your resume and cover letter: Make sure your application materials are tailored to each job you apply for, highlighting relevant skills and experience.

  4. Network: Connect with professionals in your field through networking events, online communities, and social media platforms. Networking can often lead to job opportunities or referrals.

Remember, finding a job can sometimes take time, so don't get discouraged. Stay proactive in your search efforts and continue to seek out new opportunities. Good luck! #jobsearch #careeradvice

When you feel you have NAILED your interview you feel confident you feel you got this, they say you will hear from us by Friday Either way, and i did not hear anything? Is that a bad or good sign? They made me feel like I had the job, talking about training etc , if I was ok working 9-6pm. Ugh I have never wanted a job so bad. Advice? Not to mention I have a good friend that works on the inside and she gave me a amazing reference. I called Friday and left a message with the lady that I interviewed with and did not hear anything , they work from home on fridays so could that have been the issue? They are interviewing other candidates. They did not select you. Thus you will not receive any information from them.

Before you interview for a mailroom clerk job, it is important to have some knowledge about the role. A mailroom clerk is responsible for sorting, distributing, and processing mail within an organization. Some key skills that may be required for a mailroom clerk job include attention to detail, organization, and communication.

During the interview, it is a good idea to ask specific questions about the job responsibilities, such as the volume of mail that needs to be processed each day, the software and equipment that is utilized, and the specific procedures for sorting and distributing mail. It may also be helpful to inquire about opportunities for advancement within the organization.

In addition to researching the company and the job description beforehand, it is always a good idea to come prepared with a couple of relevant questions to ask the interviewer. Good luck with your job search, and don't forget to check out Jobcase and other job search providers for more opportunities!
