I was asked by several store managers to apply for jobs in their company. I applied and then informed them that I applied. They never give me a formal interview or anything more than a consideration. Then weeks go by and I am shopping at their store and asked to apply for a job. I explain that I submitted an application online on X date and gave them resume on X date. They have been doing this for over 2 years now and still no call for an interview. Plus I am still waiting on SSI Disability funds since 2019. Been told I will have an answer by December 2023. Walmart USED to be a good place to work…. If you have a disability like chrohns.. make sure you apply for Fmla.. and have your absence covered by your doctor. @agnes Ajinwo If you’re unemployed you should submit three applications a week to various companies so you can create a pipeline of potential opportunities. This way if you get several job offers you can pick and choose the best one that meets your needs.
