Always, especially after an interview, send the interviewer a thank-you note or email. This can help you stand out and show your continued interest in the job. Do you do this? #jobsearch #followup #advice #interview #application

Senior Recruiter

This is a standard question that is asked by TD because usually the new hires are enrolled in some sort of training and they want to make sure that the new hires don’t have any immediate vacation plans.

Mail Carrier at Us Post Office

There is no reason to stay , if someone finds a better job . unless someone really likes the job and is happy with the pay and benefits . remember it is a hard job and to stay for long years is a challenge.

I retired last year with 37yrs service. Why stay??? You get a fantastic retirement...even though if you're young you may not be thinking of that yet. You get a PENSION, SOCIAL SECURITY and a 401K plan called TSP. They match a portion of your contributions. And...you can fully retire at 56, if you work there for a period of time. Very hard job, I carried mail. They are extremely demanding, but was worth it in the end!

Food And Beverage Manager at Wawa

As a former manager for Boot Barn I would suggest you wear your cowgirl boots, a nice pair of jeans with a nice country looking top. The most important thing at the interview is to remain calm. Get ready to talk about yourself, not your personal life, just talk about your work life experience. Smile a lot, make eye contact and dont forget to have some questions for them as well. Good luck!

I just finished interviewing for a position(just had my third interview). I received positive feedback with a promise that I would be hearing back soon to discuss salary and more information about the position. What is the best way to handle the wait period? I don’t want to call a million times for updates but sitting and waiting is starting to drive me a little crazy. I’m ready to dive in and start working. Any advice? #followup #advice
