I originally was hired on to work with vangent which was then bought out by general dynamics. My experience was a bit different I think because it was marked by that transition with a feeling of uncertainty. Lots of people were worried about losing their their jobs and that anxiety was def palpable. With that being said I loved the yeah I worked with. They trusted me and moved me up quickly which gave me confidence to take on any job. I ended my career there being an ombudsman for the dept of education in the FAFSA program. I would have stayed because I liked the company but I had to leave for personal reasons. Mainly I was getting married and I got a job offer that I had been waiting for for years. I learned allot about customer service and although it was stressful because of the take over, or buy out whatever you want to call it out have me valuable experience that I still use to this day. Thanks for hearing me out. Regards, Oscar Chavez

My positions at General Dynamics included both International Systems and information Technology. Both areas were fulfilling and the staffs I worked with were talented, capable, and outgoing. My time at General Dynamics was without a doubt the highlight of my professional life. I enjoyed each work day and was duly compensated for my knowledge and performance. Unfortunately, when downsizing occurred, my high pay marked me as a candidate for elimination. General Dynamics allowed me to stay for three additional months until I was eligible for retirement. A very good company to be sure!
