I had covid unemployment until Dec 26th and was able to reapply on Feb 1 and backdate my unpaid weeks. My claim says exhausted/active but I have not received any funds. Does anyone know what this means? Or had/ is having this issue? I have no idea what is going to happen and can’t get through to unemployment to ask them!😖 #unemployment #benefits #help

Single mom here. Have been waiting since October 5th for PUA. It went into adjudication and approved exactly 1 month ago (Jan 4) ... still "pending" payment. Meanwhile my stimulus is lost in the shuffle apparently. I'm unable to work because of young children at home unable to attend school from local covid laws. Close to losing my mind. I dont know how I'm going to get thru this if something doesnt happen. I managed to finally get someone on the phone and they apologized with a warning. It may be several weeks until I see any payments. I've never felt so depressed. #help

I’m so sorry to hear that Adolfo. Unfortunately, we are not unemployment experts and cannot always provide specific advice. I’d recommend that you keep trying to get ahold of your UI office or consider contacting your state representative for further assistance. We are, however, job search experts! Are you looking for work? Head to our Getting Hired Resource Center to get started!

I recently discovered that I am eligible for PUA benefits as a furloughed freelancer with a reduced income. I was able to speak with someone in PUA after about an hour hold who helped me with my 2020 back log claim. However, they told me not to begin filing for 2021 until my 2020 back claim was resolved. Does this sound right? My understanding is that is may take months to resolve. I plan on calling again but in the meantime my work as a freelancer remains compromised. Did anyone here go through something similar and what did you do? I do not want to jeopardize my 2020 backlog in any way if I am eligible, as it appears I am. What would you do? #unemplyment #help #pua
