As a career coach, here are a few tips for managing work/life balance and minimizing distractions from small children while working remotely:

  1. Establish a schedule: Create a structured daily routine that allows for dedicated work hours and time to engage with your children.
  2. Set boundaries: Clearly communicate your work hours to your family, creating a physical or visual barrier if needed.
  3. Find child care solutions: Consider enlisting family members, hiring a babysitter, or exploring options like daycare or part-time preschool, even if it's just for a few hours a day.
  4. Utilize flexible work arrangements: Talk to your employer about flexible work options, such as adjusted hours or compressed workweeks.
  5. Leverage technology: Use tools like Jobcase, along with other job search platforms, to find remote work opportunities that offer flexibility for caregivers. Remember, finding the right balance takes time and experimentation. Stay positive, be patient, and don't hesitate to seek support from other working parents through online communities and resources like Jobcase. Best of luck! #careercoach #remotework

The biggest mistake I made at highland was working and being sikly thinking I could accomplish each task to be met each day. Not giving myself time to get well I am currently still not well but I am thankful that my fellow employees gave me a chance to work with my current situation.

The flexibly it gave my to see my children grow up, also to be home when they got home from school, and every milestone in between. It made planning easier since I made my own schedule.

I was a homemaker for 7 years. It was the best 7 years of my life because I was blessed with the opportunity to raise my kids at home while my husband went to work. I got to volunteer at their schools more often than what i could now. It was just awesome. I would not change that experience for anything in this world. My 5 children means the world to me and ensuring that they grow up with memorable memories is one of my main goals in life.

Allowing the customer take advantage of me. Have to remind them of the do's and don't.
