It was a job that was too good to be true for my age. I made a lot as the only full-time server at my location. With Hyvee’s benefits it was an amazing career. But all of the market Grille’s turned into an express and they didn’t need a lead server anymore.

It is a great company to work for with great benefits. They have excellent training and truly care about their employees.

Leaving a job I loved to stay home with my granddaughter.

During the Christmas hustle and bustle the customer service desk could get quite busy. It was important to multitask and treat each guest individually and with a smile.

A guest said an item was marked wrong. Brought the guest to the item and they were right so I gave them the item for free!! That’s the HyVee way!! The guest left extremely happy that they were listened too.

I loved the guests and my coworkers. The training was also very good. A smile in every aisle!!

They said an item was priced wrong. I went and checked and it was so I gave it to them for free.

I really enjoyed my coworkers. The people in my shoes who I can relate to. I made a lot of good friends there. However, a certain manager disliked me and the others, so much so that she went out of her way to send us home for simple accidents or misunderstandings, which made working there difficult sometimes. However, the things that stuck with me were the friends I made.

I loved there because the person over there was so nice ! And the job was not hard .
